Hollywood Smile

A Hollywood Smile is not a single product — it is a coordinated plan across the teeth that show when you speak and smile, usually eight to twenty units per arch. We photograph your face in motion, scan the arches, and design the new smile in software. You see and approve a 3D preview and, in most cases, wear a trial mock-up in your own mouth before any preparation begins.

Worn, discoloured, chipped or unevenly spaced front teeth resist a single-tooth fix: correcting one makes the others look worse. Treating the visible zone as one design solves shape, shade, midline and proportion together, and lets the technician balance the result against your lips and face rather than against the teeth alone.

Technology

Intraoral scanning, digital smile design software, 3D-printed mock-ups and monolithic or layered lithium disilicate ceramics.

Aftercare

Avoid biting hard objects such as ice or pens, wear a night guard if you clench, and keep six-monthly hygiene visits. Ceramics do not decay but the tooth underneath can, so flossing at the margins matters.

Questions patients ask first

Some reduction is necessary for ceramic to fit without looking bulky, but the amount depends on your starting position. Where teeth are already worn or slightly inset, preparation can be minimal. We show you the planned reduction on the mock-up before you agree.

A shade that reads as artificial on camera is one that ignores your skin tone, eye whites and age. We photograph you against a calibrated reference and recommend a shade that will still look right in ten years — but the choice is yours, and we record it.
